Hazardous asbestos factory is being built in the fertile agricultural field in the vicinity of densely populated residential area.at the village of Chainpur-Vishunpur under Marwan Blok of Muzaffarpur district in Bihar.The Kolkata basesd M/s Balmukund Cement & Roofing Ltd. has managed the clearance from the Union Environment Ministry. The company has misled the villagers by telling them that an agro-based factory will be set up. It also misled the Union Environment Ministry through its Environment Impact Assessment report saying that the village land in question is “barren”. But these are utterly false.
