The All India Mahila Sanskritik Sangathan, Bihar State Committee, organised a Seminar on 'Increasing Crimes on Women' here in History Department of Patna University. The Seminar was addressed by Prof. Bharati S. Kumar, HOD, History, PU, Prof. Daisy Narain, Keya Dey, Member, Executive Committee, AIMSS, Prof. Md. Shahid, Prof. Rama Sriwashtava, Kanchan, Nitu and Pinki Devi. All the speakers dealt on the different kinds of crimes perpetuated on the women especially in Bihar. They remembered the uncompromising struggle led by Pritilata Waddedar in the days of freedom movement. All the speakers felt the need to build up powerful women movement against the crimes on women. Sadhana Mishra, Secretary, AIMSS, Bihar State Committee conducted the programme.
