March expressing solidarity with the struggling people of Afro-Arabian Countries


Patna, 17th March:

The  All India Democratic Youth Organization (AIDYO) took out a Solidarity March here expressing the solidarity with and congratulating the workers-peasants-students-youth and all other sections of the toiling people of Afro-Arabian countries including Egypt, Tunisia and Libya fighting against the police and military of the capitalist rulers of their own countries. The march was taken out from Radio Station and traversing through Fraser Road, Dakbunglo Roundabout reached Patna Junction Roundabout where a street corner meeting was organized.

Addressing the meeting Indradeo Roy, State Convener, AIDYO said the rulers of those countries throttled democracy, trampled one and all democratic rights of people and dragged common people into the dark dungeons of a totally in secured life fraught with poverty, unemployment and miseries of all sorts. Accumulated wrath and ire of the deprived people has given rise to this massive spontaneous peoples’ revolt. “This courageous people’s struggle sent a strong and distinct note of inspiration to oppressed common toiling people of the different countries, added Anil Kumar Chand, Convener, Patna district organizing Committee, AIDYO. Those who spoke on the occasion were Rameshwar Roy, Shashi and Parikshit Raj. Extending their full support and solidarity to the fighting people of those countries, the speakers  appealed the youths in particular and the common people in general of India to built up mighty mass movement against price hike, unemployment, obscenity and other burning problems of their lives.
